Workspace Overview

The Ryva workspace is your central hub for productivity, featuring:
  • Unified Dashboard - View all your projects and tasks at a glance
  • Organization Context - Work within your active organization
  • Quick Navigation - Access everything without leaving the workspace
  • Smart Sidebar - Persistent navigation with organization switcher
Your workspace is scoped to your currently active organization. Switch organizations to access different workspaces and projects.

Dashboard Features

At-a-Glance Metrics

The dashboard displays key metrics for your current workspace:
  • Projects - Total number of active projects
  • Tasks - Outstanding tasks across all projects
  • Focus Time - Time spent in focused work sessions
These metrics update in real-time as you work, giving you instant insight into your productivity.

Organization Context

Your workspace is always associated with an active organization:

Organization Switcher

The sidebar includes a workspace switcher that allows you to:
  • View all organizations you’re a member of
  • Switch between organizations instantly
  • Create new organizations
  • See your role in each organization
When you switch organizations, the entire workspace context changes to show that organization’s projects, members, and settings.

Active Organization Persistence

Ryva remembers your last active organization:
  • Saved locally in your browser
  • Restored when you return to the platform
  • Updates automatically when you switch organizations
The workspace sidebar provides quick access to:
  • Dashboard - Overview and metrics
  • Projects - All projects in current organization
  • Tasks - Task management and tracking
  • Calendar - Schedule and deadlines
  • Settings - Organization and user settings
  • Billing - Subscription and payment management (owners only)
Dynamic breadcrumbs show your current location:
  • Organization name
  • Current section
  • Specific resource (project, task, etc.)
Click any breadcrumb segment to quickly navigate back to that level.

Set your preferences early (theme, timezone, notifications) to optimize your experience.
Learn common shortcuts like Cmd+K for search to navigate faster without using the mouse.
Create separate projects for different initiatives to keep work organized and easy to find.
Regularly check your dashboard metrics to track productivity and identify bottlenecks.
When you need uninterrupted time, enable focus mode to minimize distractions.

Workspace Limits

Limits vary by plan:

Free Plan

  • 5 projects maximum
  • 10GB storage
  • Basic features only

Team Plan

  • Unlimited projects
  • 100GB storage
  • All features unlocked

Enterprise Plan

  • Unlimited everything
  • Custom storage allocation
  • Enterprise features
Upgrade to Team or Enterprise to remove limits and unlock advanced workspace features.

Mobile Experience

Ryva workspace is responsive and works on mobile devices:
  • Adaptive sidebar (drawer on mobile)
  • Touch-optimized controls
  • Mobile-friendly navigation
  • Full feature parity
For the best experience, we recommend using Ryva on a desktop or laptop. Complex project management is easier with a larger screen.

Troubleshooting

Dashboard not loading?

  • Check your internet connection
  • Refresh the page
  • Clear browser cache
  • Try a different browser

Wrong organization showing?

  • Use the organization switcher to select the correct workspace
  • Check that you’re a member of the organization
  • Your active organization may have been changed

Missing features?

  • Verify your organization’s plan
  • Some features are only available on paid plans
  • Check your user role permissions

Slow performance?

  • Close unused browser tabs
  • Clear browser cache
  • Check for browser extensions that might interfere
  • Ensure stable internet connection
